Fantastic Stay Near the Cascades!

I found the room very clean and the bed provided great comfort. The buffet breakfast stood out. It had many options. The bar food was tasty. I also appreciated the dinner selection. The power in the shower was good, always a plus!
The hotel corridors seemed like a maze, and I overheard other guests expressing the same sentiment. It was a bit confusing to navigate at first.

I noticed the location offers a view of the waterfalls. Kayaks descend them from the bar area. The hotel provides quick access to the room, which I valued. I was pleased that the hotel is a short walk into town.

The bedroom was large. It was also well equipped. Breakfast was excellent, it had a lovely variety. The hotel was easy to find and there was loads of parking.
The bedroom was clean BUT there was an outside light that stayed on all night. It shone straight onto the bed, visible even with curtains closed. The light was for the entrance to the spa from the carpark. There were no paper tissues provided in the bedroom.

Breakfast tasted like the standard buffet option and a specialty breakfast was also offered.
The carpets in corridors had a musky smell and inclines. I was like the hotel lacked investment. The room keys were of the turn-key variety, so I had to carry a clunky key all day.

underwhelming stay
dated furniturepoor soundproofing
The room i got, a double room with private bathroom, felt a bit dated. some of the furniture looked worn (especially the desk chair) and could use replacing. also, the soundproofing wasn't great. I could hear a lot of noise from the hallway. these things definitely affected my experience in 2024 (it was loud!).
